Film in nonlinear and jumps back and forth between timelines which can be a bit jarring at times
Acting is really good all around and modernized for this time, still takes place during the Civil War
Ronan is great as Jo and is very endearing and independent in this role
Pugh is also very good as Amy March and makes her more than just a bratty younger sister, has some really strong and emotional scenes
Chalamet is very good as Laurie and is a joy to see on screen
Love the relationships between the family and friends and how there is so much energy when they are all together talking over one another, feels very real
Film is a joy to watch for the most part but hits emotional notes when it needs to while always remaining endearing
Ending isn"t as strong as it good of been as it felt a little forced and sudden
All other supporting performances are good and make the characters come to life
Love the modern way of thinking that this film uses to challenge norms and stand up for woman and what they want in life instead of just being a wife which was common place in this time
Score of the film drives home the emotional scenes
Written so well and realistic by Greta and directed well too
Cinematography is consistently satisfying
There are a few corny scenes and the laughs don"t always hit, can also get a bit slow at times
Overall a strong film that I would recommend to most

Watch the silence of the lambs. I like how this was in my recommended after I watched this movie for the first time. Ted Levine was such a great actor that he couldn"t get work after playing this role. He freaked everyone out for decades. Everyone knew who"s the winner. Although some have it better than others, life is tough for everyone, but the ppl that are so miserable that they want to harm others belong in hell. It is such a weak way to be. If you are that miserable just remove yourself from the world. For those of you who dont know it is best described as a constant ringing that is in the victims ear that never goes away. Whenever youve been to a loud nightclub or a music festival you will probably experience a ringing in your ears that goes away within a few hours. What I have is that except the ringing is much louder and it never quiets down. It is constant. It may sound like its not that bad but really it is unbearable sometimes. I hear it all day every day and it is at the point now where it is making me depressed and is severely limiting my productivity. Nights are the worst. You never truly appreciate something until it is gone and something as simple as silence is something everyone takes for granted. The ability to go to bed or somewhere quiet and hear nothing is something that I have not had for half a year. The silence is deafening. Right now Im taking a course of drugs that are supposed to reduce the fluids in my ear as the doctor thinks that is the cause, the ringing is ever so slightly less noisy but still unbearable at times such as right now when Im writing this. For those of you who dont know the ears, mouth and nose are all linked together so me taking these drugs to reduce fluids in my ears is also causing the way my nose works to shift so when I speak I sound slightly different. Not going to lie it feels pretty shit and I am 90% certain I will have this ringing and warbling in my ears for the rest of my life. But anyway don"t forget to like and subscribe XD.
